Projects These are some of my projects. I've done a bunch of stuff over the years, and I hope to be doing more in the future. This will be a place that I can document some of the stuff I've done. Going back to the late 1980's when I was at Connecticut College, I entered two German poetry contests sposored by the Goethe Institute. As one of two German majors in my class, I felt that I should be entering the contest. I have no idea if anyone else entered, but I can say that I won the prize both times. Each time, I won a German reference book. One was a pretty cool picture encyclopedia, I don't remember what the other prize was. The two poems I translated were by Goethe, and they were both kind of creepy. Most of the German poetry I studied was creepy or weird in some way.
